Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day bakery operations, making sure that breads, pastries, and other baked items are produced on time.
- Create and test new recipes while keeping current options consistent.
- Order supplies, keep an eye on inventories, and make sure stock levels satisfy production demands.
- Oversee, develop, and plan the work of bakery employees while fostering a happy and efficient workplace.
Skills Required:
- Deep knowledge of baking techniques for breads, pastries and desserts.
- Ability to develop, test and refine recipes.
- Proficiency in tracking inventory, placing orders, and managing stock levels to prevent shortages or waste.
- Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
- Uphold strict guidelines for food safety, hygiene, and sanitation.
