Position: Procurement Engineer (Officer/Assistant Manager Level)
Dairy/Tea whitener Manufacturing Site Based in Lahore
Education: MBA Supply Chain/ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical
Experience: Minimum 03 Years relevant experience in technical / packaging
Key Responsibilities:
- Procuring of various materials and equipment, such as:
- Engineering stores and spares
- Consumable raw materials
- Packaging materials
- Plant and machinery
- Electrical and mechanical equipment
- Services (e.g., pumps, motors, oils, lubricants)
- Construction-related materials
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure:
- Cost-effectiveness
- Timely services
- Vendor management:
- Enhancing the vendor pool
- Optimizing costs
- Handling specific types of purchases:
- CAPEX (Capital Expenditure)
- BMR (Balancing, Modernization, and Replacement)
- IT-related buying
This role requires strong interpersonal skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
