Who are we looking for?
. Preferably 16 years of education in computer Science with specialization in information security related subjects or equivalent qualification from a HEC recognized /foreign university.
. Preferably have ISO 27001 LI, CISSP, or CISM Security qualification.
. Preferably 3-5 years of experience in managing I&IT security function in a banking environment.
. Preference will be given to candidates with Temenos T24 exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development & Implementation Information Security Policies & Manuals:
. Review and enhance other I&/T policies, identifying gaps & provide recommendations to bridge-up these gaps.
. Provide support to IT and business by recommending and implementing security controls and best practices.
- Information Security Assessments & Oversight:
. Collaborate with KMBL IT department to implement technical security controls.
. Monitor and respond to new threats and security alerts, recommending remedial actions.
. Ensure consistent compliance follow-up for ongoing security improvements.
- Security OPS Center (SOC) & Cyber Security Management:
. Monitor security logs for potential malicious events and incidents, addressing I&/T risks and ensuring compliance with I&/T security policies.
. Provide support to IT administrators, Internal Audit, and fraud investigation teams in resolving reported security incidents.
- I&IT Security Risk Management:
. Establish and maintain an ongoing security risk management program to identify, assess, and remediate risks and threats in accordance with the risk mitigation strategy.
