Deputy Manager – Import & Logistics
The role involves end-to-end coordination with logistics service providers to ensure timely execution of shipments through customs and in transit. The candidate’s key responsibilities include verifying duty sheets, sharing shipping documents with clearing agents, requesting and verifying fund demands, and ensuring payment processing in coordination with the finance team. Additionally, they develop master databases for tracking purposes, monitor IMS implementation per ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards, prepare various reports and summaries as needed, confirm vendor invoices for payment, and formulate SOPs and policies for streamlined operations. The candidate should have the expertise in the import functions and being from the Automotive industry will be an added advantage.
Qualifications:
- MBA/M.COM from a reputable institute.
Requirements:
- 06 – 07 years’ of relevant experience (Preferably from the automotive sector)
- Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Expertise in SAP MM Module.
