Responsibilities:

  • Plan assigned audits, identifying objectives, scope, and specific risks.
  • Develop comprehensive audit programs to identify areas for control improvements within the function under review.
  • Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
  • Identify key control points within the system under review to focus audit efforts effectively.
  • Perform or supervise audits in a professional manner, adhering to approved audit programs and standards.
  • Obtain, analyze, and appraise evidentiary data to form an informed, objective opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system and the efficiency of performance.
  • Prepare formal written draft reports, articulating opinions on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system and the efficiency of activities carried out.
  • Evaluate the adequacy of corrective actions taken to address deficient conditions identified during audits.
  • Assist in the development of the annual audit plan to ensure comprehensive coverage of audit objectives and priorities.
