𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠: 50% to 70% travelling required
𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞:
We are seeking a Solar Design Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in designing both residential and industrial solar PV systems. This role will be responsible for detailed system design, performance analysis, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution from concept to commissioning.
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- Design customized solar PV systems for residential and industrial clients using tools such as AutoCAD, Helioscope, PVSyst, or equivalent
- Prepare detailed system layouts, SLDs (single-line diagrams), and electrical schematics
- Conduct site assessments using satellite imagery and on-site data
- Estimate system performance and energy yields
- Coordinate with project managers, installation teams, and sales engineers
- Ensure compliance with NEPRA regulations, local building codes, and utility requirements
- Support documentation for permits and grid interconnection
𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in designing both industrial and residential solar systems
- Proficiency in solar design tools (AutoCAD, PVSyst, Helioscope, etc.)
- Strong understanding of PV system components, inverter selection, and standards
- Knowledge of local electrical regulations and utility interconnection procedures
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with battery storage systems and hybrid solutions
- Familiarity with solar ROI and payback period calculations
