Position: Merchandiser – Home Textile
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the full merchandising cycle for home textiles from product development to shipment follow-ups.
- Coordinate with production, dyeing, printing, finishing, and stitching teams to ensure timely execution of orders.
- Prepare costings, maintain order files, update ERP systems, and manage all required documentation.
- Handle sample development, approvals, and communication with buyers regarding routine updates and required clarifications.
- Monitor order progress, identify potential delays, and escalate issues to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain accurate tracking sheets, prepare basic presentations, and support marketing activities for the European region.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality, timelines, and customer requirements are consistently met.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Textile Sciences, or Supply Chain (textile preferred).
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in home textile merchandising or textile marketing.
Skills:
- Good understanding of printing, dyeing, finishing, stitching, and overall textile manufacturing processes.
- Strong follow-up, coordination, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP systems.
