We’re Recruiting: Lab Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, log, and prepare fabric/garment samples for physical, chemical, mechanical, and color fastness testing.
- Conduct textile and garment testing as per ISO, AATCC, ASTM, EN, and customer-specific standards.
- Follow internal SOPs and ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance in all test results.
- Accurately record test data, prepare detailed reports, and highlight any non-conformances or deviations.
- Operate, maintain, and ensure timely calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant laboratory environment; support internal and external audits.
- Suggest process improvements in testing methods and equipment utilization.
- Assist in updating SOPs and developing training materials for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a textile or garment testing laboratory (fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge may also apply).
- Familiarity with international testing standards such as ISO, ASTM, AATCC, and EN.
- Hands-on experience with textile or garment testing equipment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to quality.
