Beaconhouse National University (BNU) is looking for a bright and energetic resource for the role of UI/UX Designer for its Department of Information Technology and Resource Center (ITRC).
Responsibilities:
-Design easy-to-use and responsive layouts by creating user profiles, sketches, and clickable samples, while making sure they are accessible for everyone.
-Develop sitemaps and information architecture to organize content effectively and enhance usability.
-Create and maintain a consistent visual style through typography, colour schemes, iconography, and branding.
-Write clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to implement interactive, cross-browser compatible, and high-performance web interfaces.
-Collaborate with backend developers and iterate on designs based on feedback to continuously improve the user experience.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Graphic Design, or a related field.
-2-4 years of professional experience in both UI/UX design and front-end web development
-Proven UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio.
-Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
-Experience with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
-Familiarity with tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
-Additional App Skills – Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, WordPress.
-Strong understanding of responsive design.
-Strong problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work independently and in team settings.
-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
