Position : Senior Manager IT – Karachi
Express Media Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager IT to lead enterprise-wide technology operations and oversee a multi-site IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale infrastructure, mission-critical systems, and cybersecurity operations.
Key Responsibilities:
-Ensure 24/7 uptime of data center, servers, storage, and Active Directory.
-Manage and optimize virtualization environments across multiple Windows-based hosts.
-Oversee cloud-hosted email systems across multiple domains with a large user base.
-Manage network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and multi-link internet redundancy.
-Oversee 400+ desktops and IT operations across various sites.
-Ensure availability of key business applications for Finance, Sales, Marketing, Editorial, and Digital teams.
-Lead cybersecurity operations including firewall management, endpoint protection, and patching.
-Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of 25+ IT professionals.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT.
-10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, operations, and team leadership.
-Strong expertise in networks, servers, Active Directory, virtualization, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
-Prior experience working with a News TV channel or broadcast environment will be a strong plus.
-Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
