JOB OPPORTUNITY: Manager Taxation

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with Pakistan tax laws, including Income Tax Ordinance, Sales Tax Act, and Provincial Tax Laws.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (Income Tax, Sales Tax, Withholding Tax, etc.).
  • Manage tax audits and assessments, and represent the company before tax authorities.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business.
  • Lead tax planning and advisory for business operations and new initiatives.
  • Reconcile tax liabilities and ensure timely deposit of taxes.
  • Maintain accurate tax records and documentation.
  • Liaise with external tax consultants and legal advisors as necessary.
  • Train and guide junior tax and finance team members.
    Requirements
  • CA, ACCA, ICMA, or Master’s in Taxation/Accounting/Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a taxation role, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Pakistani tax regulations, including FBR and PRA/SRB/KPRA laws.
  • Experience handling tax audits and litigation.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
