Position : Key Account Manager – Institutional/Tender Business

Key Accountabilities

  • Preparation and timely submission of public & private tenders.
  • Develop & maintain long term business relationship with key public & private institutions/hospitals.
  • Achieve sales targets and maximize existing business by assessing account potential.
  • Ensure Institutional discounts are aligned with corporate pricing structure.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Medical team for product presentations to formulary members and purchasing authorities for adding new products to formularies.
  • Identify sales opportunities, assess account potential, and monitor competitor activities.
  • Oversee Institutional orders, stock levels, and timely execution of orders in close coordination with distribution partner.
  • Monitor distributor performance, record keeping and ensure timely recovery of Outstanding payments.
  • Facilitate communication across teams and provide regular updates through daily call reports and meeting feedback.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors

  • Graduate or Bachelors in Pharmacy.
  • Min. 5-8 years of experience
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of Institutional & Tender Business management.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
