Imtiaz is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical “Tax Analyst” to join our Finance team. This role is essential for ensuring compliance with tax laws, minimizing tax liabilities, and supporting tax planning initiatives.

Location: Head Office, Karachi.

Qualification: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA/ICMA preferred).

Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in taxation (corporate and indirect taxes) with strong knowledge of local tax laws and regulatory environment.

Job Description:

  • Prepare and file tax returns (Income Tax, Sales Tax, Withholding Tax, etc.) in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal tax regulations.
  • Maintain accurate tax records and documentation for audits.
  • Assist in tax assessments and handle queries from tax authorities.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing related to tax provisions.
  • Analyze financial data for accurate tax reporting and identify opportunities for tax savings.
  • Stay updated with changes in tax laws and advise on implications for the business.
