The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing timely and accurate financial reports in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements in one of Pakistan’s leading and fastest-growing retail chains.
📍 Location: Head Office, Karachi.
🎓 Qualification:
- ACCA / CMA / MBA – Finance
💼 Experience:
- 3-4 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements for group reporting.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit processes.
- Prepare financial analysis and variance reports for management review.
- Support tax reporting and statutory filings as required.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Participate in the implementation and improvement of financial reporting systems and processes.

Imtiaz is seeking for a meticulous and dedicated “Officer – Payroll Operations” to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing and liaising with government institutions such as SESSI, EOBI, and other statutory bodies to ensure full compliance with labor and tax regulations. This role requires hands-on experience in payroll systems and excellent coordination with HR, audit, and regulatory authorities.

🎓 Qualification:
- MBA – Finance
💼 Experience:
- 2–3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a mid-to-large-sized organization.
- Strong knowledge of SESSI, EOBI and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll and strong MS Excel skills.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
- Execute monthly payroll processing accurately and on time, including salaries, allowances, bonuses, and deductions.
- Manage employee registration, contributions, and compliance with SESSI and EOBI.
- Prepare and submit statutory returns, payments and documentation to relevant government bodies.
- Maintain updated employee records in the payroll system including new hires, resignations, transfers and adjustments.
- Reconcile payroll-related accounts and support month-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with HR for time attendance, leaves, and benefits data.
- Address payroll queries and ensure employee awareness of benefits and deductions.
- Support internal audits related to payroll, EOBI and SESSI.
- Stay updated on labor laws and government regulations affecting payroll and employee benefits.
