Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Retail Operations Manager. You will be fully responsible for the daily operational management of an itel Home brand store, including team management, sales performance, inventory control, customer service, and store image maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Performance Management:
Develop and execute monthly/quarterly sales plans, break down sales targets for the team and individuals, and track progress to ensure achievement.
Regularly analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales data, customer traffic, and conversion rates to identify issues and propose effective improvement strategies and promotional activities.
Closely monitor market trends and competitor information, providing timely feedback and suggestions to regional management.
Team Building & Management:
Manage store staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance appraisals to build a highly efficient and service-oriented sales team.
Boost team morale and enhance cohesion and sales capabilities through daily coaching, motivation, and regular team meetings.
Foster a positive, healthy, and collaborative work environment, manage employee relations, and ensure team stability.
Store Operations & Standard Implementation:
Supervise the execution of daily store operational procedures, including opening/closing, cashiering, stocktaking, and shift handovers, ensuring all processes are smooth and accurate.
Strictly enforce the company’s Visual Merchandising (VM) standards to ensure product displays are appealing, tidy, and well-stocked, and the store environment is clean, bright, and reflective of the brand image.
Manage store inventory, including receiving, inspection, stock counts, transfers, and safety stock levels, to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
Safeguard store assets (e.g., equipment, fixtures, cash) and ensure they are secure and in good working order.
Customer Service & Experience:
Establish and maintain excellent customer service standards
Handle customer complaints and after-sales issues properly
Gather customer feedback and identify needs through effective communication to provide valuable insights for product and service optimization.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Associate’s degree or higher; a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in retail store management, Experience in consumer electronics, smart home, home appliances, or mobile phone chain stores.
Sales Acumen: Strong sales skills and a data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze sales data to make informed decisions.
Communication: Outstanding interpersonal, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
