Join Pak Navy Through Pakistan Marine Academy Karachi Admission 2026 – 2027 Application Form and become a proud member of the 64th batch of cadets for the Nautical (Deck) and Marine Engineering branches. Admissions are now open at the Pakistan Marine Academy for a prestigious 2-year residential training program. Successful candidates will be awarded associate degrees in Nautical Science or Marine Engineering from NED University, Karachi. Unmarried male citizens of Pakistan with strong academic credentials in FSC (Pre-Engineering) or A-Level (with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) can apply. Limited scholarships are also available under the Ministry of Maritime Affairs.

1. Nautical (Deck) Branch

  • Associate Degree in Nautical Science (from NED University)
  • Training duration: 2 years residential at Pakistan Marine Academy

2. Marine Engineering Branch

  • Associate Degree in Marine Engineering (from NED University)
  • Training duration: 2 years residential at Pakistan Marine Academy

Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Male, unmarried citizens of Pakistan
  • Age Limit: Not more than 20 years on 31 December 2025
    • Relaxation: Up to 21 years for candidates from FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and Balochistan
  • Educational Qualification:
    • FSC (Pre-Engineering) or A-Level with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
    • Minimum 55% marks in FSC/A-Level
    • Candidates awaiting Part-II results with at least 60% marks in Part-I may also apply with a Hope Certificate
    • O/A Level candidates must submit Equivalence Certificate from IBCC

Training & Certification

  • Residential Training: 2 years at Pakistan Marine Academy
  • Degree: Associate degree by NED University in relevant maritime discipline
  • IMO Certification: Pre-Sea mandatory courses approved by International Maritime Organization (IMO)

Selection Procedure

  • Written Test:
    Conducted by third-party testing agencies at the following centers:
    • Abbottabad, Gwadar, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Muzaffarabad (AJK), Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Sukkur
  • Minimum Passing Marks: 50% in the written test
  • Medical Examination:
    For shortlisted candidates at designated Army/Navy hospitals
  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

Terms & Conditions / Disqualification Criteria

  • Altering educational documents or mark sheets
  • Providing false or incomplete information
  • Being expelled from any academic or military institution
  • Previous dismissal from government or armed services
  • Conviction in court for any moral or criminal offense
  • Candidates with color blindness or medically unfit
  • Candidates holding Diplomas of Associate Engineering (DAE) or with non-relevant subject combinations
