Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in IT Governance, Risk, or Compliance within the banking or financial sector.
- Relevant certifications such as CISA, CGEIT, COBIT, ISO 27001 LA, or ITIL will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the IT Governance Framework in line with SBP regulations, COBIT, and ISO standards.
- Draft and update IT policies, procedures, and standards ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Coordinate with Internal Audit, External Audit, and SBP on IT governance and compliance matters.
- Manage IT risk assessments, maintain risk registers, and monitor control effectiveness.
- Track audit observations, ensure timely remediation, and prepare governance dashboards and reports.
- Support IT Steering Committees with strategic insights, performance metrics, and governance updates.
- Oversee vendor governance and third-party risk assessments in line with SBP directives.
- Promote governance awareness and continuous improvement across IT functions. Skills:
- Strong understanding of SBP IT Governance & Risk Management Framework and regulatory circulars.
- In-depth knowledge of COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, ITIL, and ITGC controls.
- Proven experience in IT Risk Management, Policy Development, and Audit Coordination.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and GRC tools.
