Who are we looking for?
· Preferably a Master’s Degree in Finance/Economics/Commerce/Administration from an HEC recognized/overseas institution.
· 1-3 years working experience in banking/audit & accounts in corporate/multinational organization with good knowledge of prevailing banking laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Risk Management:
· Timely identification of compliance risk associated with business processes.
· Assisting in executing regulatory compliance risk assessments.
· Stay updated with the changes occurred in the regulatory framework and assessing the impact of changes on the bank.
· Updating Regulatory Obligation Register of all legal and regulatory
· Requirements applicable on MFBs.
Assisting in maintaining of alert database and coordination with relevant stakeholders to submit reports within required timelines. - Regulatory Relationship, SBP Inspection and Compliance follow-ups:
· Assisting in liaisons for seeking clarifications on regulatory matters raised by the management and provide guidance accordingly to the relevant stakeholders
· Assisting in coordination with SBP for rectification of observations highlighted during inspection.
· Assisting in maintaining quality coordination with SBP inspection team during inspection, manage tasks for contest meeting with SBP and subsequently following up report as instructed by SBP.
· Assisting in managing follow-up items with the management raised by SBP/External Auditor. - Compliance Advisory and Monitoring:
· Assisting in reviewing & updating Compliance Manual, Policies, Procedures, Product program and other documents forwarded by the management from time to time in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
· Updating training modules in line with ongoing developments in legal, regulatory and mandatory requirements.
· Liaisons for seeking clarifications on regulatory matters raised by the management and provide guidance accordingly to the relevant stakeholders.
· Assisting in Compliance Monitoring activity, as and when required.
· Advise management on laws & regulations and also assisting senior management and branch staff in educating staff on compliance issues and acting a contact point within bank for compliance related queries from staff members.
· Assisting in preparing and dissemination of compliance bulletin across the network, covering significant areas of regulatory, mandatory and internal controls.
