Position : Microbiologist
Location: Head Office Karachi Department: Quality Role type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform microbiological analysis on raw materials, ingredients and finished good products
- Conduct tests for pathogens, spoilage microorganisms, and overall microbial quality. Maintain and optimize food safety systems and microbiological testing protocols.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve microbial issues.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international food safety regulations
- Monitor and evaluate sanitation procedures to minimize microbial contamination risks
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology with at least 1-2 years of experience in FMCG
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations such as HACCP, GMP, Food Safety
- Experience with microbiological testing techniques and proficient with laboratory equipment and data analysis software
