We Are Recruiting: Planning Resource – Head Office
Sefam is looking for a detail-oriented Planning Resource for its head office. The ideal candidate should have exposure to Buying and Merchandising, preferably in the shoe industry.
Key Responsibilities:
-Receive designs from the design studio as per collection, plan and design -TNA for RTS and RTW, and arrange meetings with all stakeholders to ensure target dates are met and processes run smoothly.
-Create procurement plans for fabrics, trims, and accessories, considering component consumption, and reconcile balances for future use or decision-making.
-Plan CMT issuance based on in-house capacity and define timelines for each purchase order.
-Monitor progress against weekly action plans and projected plans daily, and share performance updates weekly and monthly.
-Reconcile WIP reports and stitching reconciliation with production order aging reports via SAP, ensuring all figures match.
-Follow up on development and production progress.
-Update the design department on any processes that are not feasible in production or from a consumer perspective before forwarding packages, allowing design review and minimizing time wastage.
-Conduct seasonal pre and post costing for budget allocation.
-Maintain and update a daily log of all orders in process or awaiting processing.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics
5–6 years of relevant experience in fashion retail.
