Vacant Positions
1. Finance Manager / Financial Controller
Key Role:
Ensures effective financial management of Trans Karachi under the supervision of the CFO, including strategic planning, budgeting, and financial decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance with financial regulations, SOPs, and donor (ADB, GoP) requirements.
- Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts in coordination with project teams.
- Manage fund disbursement, accounting, and cash flow forecasting.
- Ensure all payments follow the proper approval process and ADB No Objection Certificates (NOCs) are obtained.
- Maintain transparent record-keeping in both PKR and USD accounts per PSAS and SECP standards.
- Submit periodic financial reports to the Government and donors.
Qualification & Experience:
- CA / CMA / ACCA (Member of a recognized body) with 10 years of professional experience (including 3 years in managerial roles), OR
- MBA (Finance) with 10 years of experience, including 5 years in managerial roles.
- Preference for candidates with experience in ADB or donor-funded public projects.
2. General Manager – Operations
Role Overview:
Responsible for ensuring seamless operations of BRT services, including vehicle operations, fare collection, feeder routes, and performance management.
Additional Duties: Oversee the Bio-Gas Plant operations and strategic planning related to system efficiency.
Qualification:
Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or Business Administration with 10+ years of experience in public transport or large-scale infrastructure operations.
3. Assistant Manager – Land Acquisition & Resettlement
Role:
Manages the land acquisition and resettlement processes during project implementation, ensuring compliance with government and donor policies.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Social Sciences, Urban Planning, or related field with relevant project experience.
4. Assistant Manager – Document Control
Role:
Responsible for organizing, managing, and safeguarding company and project-related documentation in both digital and physical formats.
Duties:
- Maintain updated and accurate records.
- Support project planning and construction teams by providing timely access to documents.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Management, or relevant discipline with 3–5 years of document control experience.
5. Contract Specialist
Role:
Administers and monitors contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring compliance with Trans Karachi policies and legal frameworks.
Duties:
- Support in preparing and evaluating new contracts.
- Collaborate with internal teams including technology, marketing, and media.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Business, or Contract Management with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
6. Civil Engineer (Infrastructure)
Role:
Supports the civil works and infrastructure components of the BRT project.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with PEC registration and relevant field experience in large-scale public infrastructure projects.
