Immediately required “PTN Engineer”

Location: Islamabad
Experience: At least 6+ years of PTN domain
Responsible for:
- Provide comprehensive technical support and fault troubleshooting for the ZTE PTN network, ensuring continuous service availability and performance.
- Resolve all PTN-related trouble tickets in line with the Level-3 Maintenance Contract SLA between ZTE and the customer.
- Responsible for end-to-end delivery of technical projects including planning, implementation, testing, documentation and successful handover.
- Coordinate with customer representatives to address network issues, respond to technical queries and support operational or planned network activities.
- Prepare and submit detailed Incident Reports and Root Cause Analysis documentation for any PTN-related faults.
Candidates must have hands-on experience with the following technologies
- MPLS-TP: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot MPLS-TP tunnels and services.
- ETH OAM: Knowledge of IEEE 802.1ag and ITU-T Y.1731 standards.
- ETH OAM: Use for fault detection and performance monitoring.
- SNMP: Use SNMP tools like ZTE NetNumen for network management.
- L2VPN/L3VPN: Deploy and support Layer 2/3 VPNs for enterprises.
- Time Sync: Understand SyncE and IEEE 1588v2 in LTE/5G networks.
- Traffic Engineering: Implement QoS and manage bandwidth efficiently.
- CCNA, CCNP, CCIE ( highly preferred)
